“In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Brother and Colleague, Tinyiko Mahumani – Field Engineer”
At techCONNECT, we’re not just a team; we’re a family. Recently, we experienced a profound loss as we bid farewell to a cherished member of our family, Tinyiko Mahumani, our Field Engineer. He was more than a colleague; he was our brother, and his absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled.
Tinyiko was an integral part of our field team, diligently working to ensure that your connections remained robust and reliable. He approached every task with unwavering dedication, always willing to go the extra mile. Even when burdened by concerns of his own, he would respond with a resounding “yes” to any request for assistance. That was the kind of person he was—selfless and ever committed to the well-being of our techCONNECT family.
Our Technical Director, Matthew Harding, who spent a significant amount of time working alongside Tinyiko, found a special way to pay tribute to our dear brother. He penned a heartfelt poem that beautifully encapsulates the essence of Tinyiko’s spirit:
Tinyiko, Brother You were more than just a colleague; you were a brother. In the midst of life’s challenges, you once saved me. A resilient warrior, strong and unwavering. Even in your final days, as your strength waned and your body ached, You followed me through the highest peaks and the darkest valleys. From the scorching deserts to the coldest, wettest nights, Your indomitable spirit endured.
With your body weary and sore, You stood tall, exemplifying the essence of a true man.
As we bid you farewell, we remember you with love and gratitude.
Rest in peace, dear Tinyiko. You will forever be a part of our techCONNECT family, and your legacy will continue to inspire us.
