David’s journey with techCONNECT harks back to his early years, where he grew up right in front of our CEO, Arno. Even as a youngster, David displayed an innate willingness to help, regularly pitching in around the house. His strong work ethic and kind nature were evident even then.
However, it was an unexpected neighbor, Oom Ive, who played a pivotal role in shaping David’s future. Oom Ive, a metalworker and a specialist in working at heights, became David’s mentor. Under Oom Ive’s expert guidance, David acquired critical welding and climbing skills. These skills would prove to be invaluable to the techCONNECT team.
In 2017, armed with these newfound skills and a deep desire to contribute, David officially joined the techCONNECT family.

When it comes to building towers, David is the go-to guy at techCONNECT. He’s the backbone of our tower construction projects. Regardless of the blistering heat, he tirelessly digs, mixes concrete, and constructs the tower structures. His dedication is unwavering, and he never stops until the job is done.
David has left his mark on each of the 23 towers constructed by techCONNECT. His tireless work ethic and remarkable strength have earned him a well-deserved place in what we affectionately call the “Clydesdale Team,” alongside Sandros.
